We provide one-time financial advocacy to individuals or families experiencing a sudden, unexpected crisis. Applicants must submit documentation verifying an unforeseen loss of income or unbudgeted expense and demonstrate that the requested assistance will resolve the immediate issue rather than delay it. Assistance is limited to a single occurrence and is not available for ongoing crises. We respect client privacy and will keep information confidential to the extent permitted by law; however, disclosures may be required in cases such as suspected child, elder, or dependent adult abuse. To deliver services, we may share relevant information with partnering agencies, and if approved, limited service-related data will be entered into the Client Track database for assistance tracking purposes. Financial assistance is not guaranteed and is contingent upon funding availability and eligibility review. Submission of false, misleading, forged, or altered information may result in disqualification. If approved, clients will be contacted within 45 days to assess stabilization resulting from the assistance.
